Plants vs Zombies doesn't work in Lion

Okay, I know this isn't earth shaking or anything but since I installed Lion, Plants vs Zombies won't work. Not a big deal to me but to my 5 yr. old grandson this is the end of the world. Any fixes?

Same problem here Mister_E. I bought the Limited Edition CD from Target, the one that comes with the little zombie figurine. It doesn't come with any reqistration key as far as I can tell. Uninstalling and reinstalling from this disc doesn't resolve the issue. Also, it doesn't appear that you can download the version from popcap.com and install over this version. It will still ask you to buy the game, or enter a registration code, which doesn't come with the CD version. Going to http://support.popcap.com/mac-games/cd-rom and clicking on "I bought my game on retail CD-ROM, but it's asking me to register!" will give you generic instructions on how to fix something ike this, but I don't believe it applies in this case. What we have here is:

1) I bought a full retail CD version of the game and it does not come with a registration key

2) The game will no longer run in Lion and there is no upgrade process

3) The instructions http://support.popcap.com/mac-games/cd-rom do not apply in this case

I am going to contact Popcap with this scenario and see what they say.

Update: contacted Popcap support, waiting for reply.
