1 Beep and takes Multiple attempts to Start

Hello i have a IMac 21.5 Inch Late 2009 and i Installed Fedora 11 on it (What a stupid think to do i know). Ever since i did that i get a Long Beep on Startup and have to Keep Trying to Start it up after about 3 - 5 Attempts at Shuting it down and Switching it back on it after a couple of attempts. Comes on and Boots up Like Normal to a Mac Operating System. Also its a Black Screen and the Beep only happen's once and not every single time i attempt to get it to bootup like normal. But i have to keep repeating the process to get it to boot up after restarting it, shuting it down etc. Please can someone help me! What i have tryed:

1.Reseting the Computer & Erasing the Hard Drive

2.Command, Option, P and R

3. Even installing Lion and getting the updates

What i have to do:

1st Attempt: Starting it up Getting 1 Bleep and Black Screen. So i shutdown the computer by either Plug or Holding in Power Button

2nd Attempt: Starting it up Getting a Black Screen and no Booting to the OS. So i shutdown the computer by either Plug or Holding in Power Button

3rd Attempt: Does the same as 2nd. So i shutdown the computer by either Plug or Holding in Power Button

After doing it a couple of times it Boots up like normal

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7)

Do a SMC reset, this may take 2-3 times. Please read and follow the instructions carefully:

SMC RESET

  • Shut down the computer.
  • Unplug the computer's power cord and all peripherals.
  • Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
  • Release the power button.
  • Attach the computers power cable.
  • Press the power button to turn on the computer.

PRAM RESET

  • Shut down the computer.
  • Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
  • Turn on the computer.
  • Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
  • Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
  • Release the keys.
