I am using Grapher to animate a graph

And it is supposed to be able to export a QuickTime movie. Each time I try, the movie screen comes up, and Grapher crashes. Any ideas? Don't know if the feature worked prior to Lion; I never tried it before.

It is a slick program I hope is still being supported.

Bonjour Chip,

From Grapher 1.1, 2.0, 2.1 to QuickTime :

1) Grapher 2D window

2) Menu Examples / 2D Example / Variable Parameter

3) Click button « creation of video » (piece of photo film)

4) Menu File / Save as… / Title etc.

5) The result is a .mov file

6) Double click on it or open it in QuickTime Player 7 or 10.0

It worked perfecly in Tiger, Leopard, and Snow Leopard, and today in OS X 10.6.8

(iMac 20 inches early 2006 32 bits and MacBook Pro december 2010 64 bits).

Could you try this 1) to 6) procedure in Grapher 2.2 (Lion) and tell us what is the result, a new bug for Grapher or not ?

If bug please report to Apple Feedback < http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html >.

Merci beaucoup,
