I installed the iSwifter app on my iPad and now it has disappeared from my desktop. I have looked in all my folders, but it's gone. I tried to re-install it, but it says that it is already installed. I tried to get help from apple support and they do not know how to fix this. They suggest I go to a support forum to see if I can get some answers. Please help.

Check your other screens... swipe from right to left.
Go to the search screen (keep going "left" on your home screens until it appears") then type in the name of the app. It will find and launch it for you.

So, the app was on your iPad, and now it's disappeared from your iPad? Have you connected your iPad to your computer via iTunes, opened the iPad and clicked on Apps to see if it's there? If it is, you can easily move it back to your iPad from iTunes.
Another thing you could try, is to reboot your iPad. Press and hold the power and home buttons for at least 10 seconds (keep holding past the swipe to shut down bar if it appears) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart. See if your app is there after it comes back up.
I typed in app in the search bar and it brought up around 7 apps and then listed some email messages, but no iSwifter app. I can't believe that I can't retrieve this. Very strange. Thanks for your suggestion.
Don't type in "app" - type the name of the app.
You're looking for iSwifter, right? Type that in.

Yes I did type in iSwifter but all that did was bring up all the message that I sent to the makers of the iSwifer app to see if they had any answers for me on retrieving the app, but they could not help me.
I will try to work on this again tomorrow. Thank you all for your suggestions. Much appreciated!! 🙂
Ok, I almost hate to admit this, but I was told by a customer support person for the app designer to delete the app from my computer so then I could reinstall the app again. I didn't realize that I could have transferred the app back to my iPad...but I also saw a message after I deleted it that said when you do delete something from the iTunes library that it wasn't really deleted. if only there was a trash bin that you could get into and restore any deletes. That would be to easy. This is my first iPad and I'm learning as I go here. I am learning by trail and error. Wish I wasn't so technically challenged. Thanks for your suggestions as that really would have worked.
I also tried rebooting it but that did not retrieve it either. My son suggested that too.
I was able to retrieve the app on my computer via iTunes, but could not move it to my iPad as the app saids downloaded, unless you have another suggestion on how to do that. All my recent activity on my iPad was synced into iTunes but that didn't help either. Everything is updated as well.
I see 5 screens on Tunes, but only 3 screens with a lot of my apps missing from 3 screens, but they are all there on Tunes. How do I get them to download to IPAD again. I tried to sync, but nothing is working.
