You can try restoring the phone as new, but that often won't work, and you get errorn 1015. In that case, SOL.
before installing the cydia he already copied the restore 4.2.1 so what i want to do? just double click on that file (3GS - iPhone2,1_4.2.1_8C148a_Restore)?
You can only restore to the latest iOS available - 4.3.5. Connect your phone to iTunes and select "Restore."
after restoring can i update to IOS 5?
If you're successful in restoring without errors, you should be able to update to iOS 5 when it's released in the fall.
Don't be tempted to hack the phone and install the beta from a pirate site. Apple is cracking down and permanently disabling phones with iOS 5 not obtained legitimately through the developers's program.
