I'm still using mine, I tricked it out completely

  • Added a G4 Processer
  • Added LCD display (connected through hidden VGA connector)
  • Installed a BD-R Drive
  • Added various LED lights (Under Apple logo on the top and back, The iMac Label, IO Ports, Around slot loading drive (using fiber optic cable to light it))

If i get a camera I'll upload a picture

Have a nice day and long live PPC Macs

The only option of which I have been aware is Fastmac's service upgrade that installs a G4 (~500 MHz) Motorola processor on your own G3 motherboard or (for $30 more) trades you a previously-upgraded motherboard for your own. Details can be found here. This upgrade for a 15+ year-old computer, like the $149 internal DVD-RW drive for the slot loading iMacs, is an expensive investment with rapidly-diminishing returns — especially if the PAV board fails.
