Converting .mp4
What is the best format to convert a .mp4 video to in MPEG Streamclip for use in FCP, without loosing video quality? I usually use Apple ProRes 422 (LT)
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.5)

ProRes LT is absolutely fine for MPEG 4. Anything else is overkill and you won't see a difference in quality.
Going to one of the other higher bandwidth ProRes flavors will just take up a lot more drive space.
