ipad will not connect to internet, youtube, ipod. I have 'rebooted' and no change. Any fixes?

I have an Ipad with current update and cannot get Safari, Ipod, Youtube to operate. Only a very momentary flash of the application then it kicks back out to the home screen. I have done the 'reboot' of using the power and home keys until white apple logo comes on to no avail. Any fixes?
