I have a macbook pro with mac os lion server installed on it. Recently I noticed that with only mail, firefox, itunes and word opened there is only 200MB or ram available and have 4 GB installed. Is that normal?

Are you referring to "free memory?" To generalize an answer to your question would be misleading. Each system is different.

Yes I am referring to free memory. Is that not a little less for a macbook pro 2.4 ghz intel core i5?
Go to Activity monitor, paste the entire memory info here please.
