I cannot send mail in Mail, but it does receive. Sending works on MobileMe and my ATT account. Sometimes it works, though, and then inexplicably stops sending mail. Any advice?

Make sure in Mail that you have set up the Outgoing Mail Server correctly as your ISP wants it.
Thanks. But it did not work. The problem is puzzling because there is no great consistency, etc.
Make sure the outgoing port is as your ISP rcommmends.
Sorry for the delay, but with the help of an Apple Advisor, the problem of being unable to send email thru the Mail app was resolved when I went to the Mail, Contact, and Calendar site in System preferences and deleted the MobileMe Account and then reinstalled it. It now works fine.
