WiFi won't automatically connect in Lion
Hi,
I've read numerous posts regarding various WiFi connection issues in Lion, and have tried many of the suggested solutions but have had no success - so I was hoping that someone was having the exact same problem and could present a solution...
My MacBook won't automatically connect to my preferred network when it starts. I ALWAYS have to go to WiFi icon > Join Other Network > Show Network (and then select the network and enter password). Only then will it join the network (and connect to the internet). Nothing else works.
I've gone through the settings numerous times, and as far as I can see, it should automatically select the network, remember the password and connect when I turn on. There is nothing wrong with my internet connection/router etc as I've only had this problem since I upgraded to Lion, and other devices/computers connect to the network without a problem. I can't remember the last time I had to manually connect to the network in Snow Leopard.
Hopefully somebody could help? Having to manually connect and enter the password every time is getting quite annoying now. Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks.
