Q: MDP - HDMI Audio Issue.

Hello,

I have been having a problem with my Dynex™ Mini Display Port to HDMI Adapter, or it may be my Television. Now, I have done my homework and researched a couple other discussions like this, but none seemed to help. My issue, is that when I connect my MacBook Air to my Toshiba television, the television displays the computer's screen just fine, but when I try to play an itunes video, the sound comes out of the MacBook Air.

By going to System Prefrences > Sound > Output, I am able to change the audio output to "TOSHIBA-TV". However, below that, it says "The selected device has no output controls."

I really want to play movies and TV shows from my MacBook Air and watch them on my TV. I would really appreciate it if someone could help.
