I can listen to music on my iPad that's on my macbook, from itunes. I just choose my macbook and play from the library on my macbook but how do I do that with a movie? I don't see an option. I wanna watch a movie on my iPad, that's in my movies on itunes.

Well, I tried this before, and it only let me view music.
Launch iTunes on your Mac. Go to the iTunes menu at the top of the screen.
iTunes>Preferences>Sharing>Share library on my local network (select this)>Share entire library (select this). Quit iTunes, restart iTunes and try again.
That's exactly what I do, it shares music and audiobooks but no movies or tv shows
OK. Then select the Selected playlists option in sharing and check the items that you want to share and try it that way...
Still not working
I figured it out, I have to go into videos app, then click shared, then click my library name
