Does the western spanish keyboard have the ñ letter?

Hi, i want to buy a new MacBook Air, 13", 128 Gb DD, intel i5 processor in a US on line apple store, but i need it with spanish keyboard. I mean with ñ letter into the keyboard.

When i configure my MacBook Air into apple on line store, i have the option to select a western spanish keyboard. That western spanish keyboard is the one that i need? with ñ letter and ¿? letters? Has someone a picture of western spanish keyboard? Thank you

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my Western Spanish keyboard! It does have the Ñ key. Also has these, some I know how to properly use, but not all... ª º ?¿ ¡! ¨ ´ (different from the can't (example)). Lets see there is also this key ç. Only one I can't find is the squiggle like for ã. Several get used above the letters when combined in order. Spanish is not my native language so forgive my sad explanation. I got this keyboard to help me with my Spanish classes. Oh here is another odd € one.

The layout is in the pattern of a European ISO as far as the key design goes. It is pretty easy to use with the only real annoying difference being the @ has to be accessed by alt + 2. Some of the other punctuation is in different spots and I had issues for a couple weeks until I got used to it. Honestly now I could not point out the differences without a standard keyboard in front of me and typing on it for a bit.

And I am jealous, I wanted an Air SO BAD with the backlighted keys. I waited long enough for the new MacBook Pro 13" and then a little longer hoping just hoping for a new air with the backlighted keyboard. Gave up as I thought it would be another half year at minimum with only a HOPE they would release the backlighted keyboard.

Want a Pro 13" for a good price LOL!?

PS: Oh and I ordered mine through the Online USA store. It came surprisingly fast too all the way from Shanghai! I am really glad to answer this as I waited specifically to get this keyboard. I could have gotten a few slightly upgraded models directly and immediately from local retailers or the last model for a good deal less. My only absolute requirement was the Western Spanish keyboard and backlighting (that all the Pro versions have). And I could find NO INFORMATION about the keyboard even through Apple Customer Care, and was leery to wait for it. I was very glad I did!!!

Thank you James. your answer was great

I`m from Colombia South America. What are your MacBook Pro characteristics? When did you bougth it? how much does it cost?

Where`re you from or where are you living now?

Thanks

Jorge

PD: excuse me for my english. I hope you understand me.

PD2: do you know the new MacBook Air has its own keyboard ligth? the apple online page sais this: "And now the keyboard is backlit, so you can type comfortably even in low-light conditions"

Yes the backlighted keyboard on the Air is exactly why I want one so bad now! My fiance is actually from Colombia and we love to travel. I wanted the smaller Air and was happy to take a hit on performance, but I absolutely needed the backlighted keyboard. And now they release the new one that way!

I currently live on the West Coast of the United States. I got my MacBook Pro 13" module from the Apple USA online store in the middle of March. It is the base model with a 2.3 ghz Intel i5 processor, 4 GB memory, and a 320gig hard drive. It was $1199 USD. Well actually I paid $1099 as I got a $100 off for being a student.

I would like what I paid for it, and should easily be able to get that if not a fair bit more on eBay. It is completely loaded with software. Adobe Photoshop CS5 (and an older CS4), Final Cut Pro, Apeture 3, Lightroom 3, and a whole slew of less expensive photography support programs. Let me know where you would be wanting it shipped to. It is in perfect condition as it lives in a SERIOUSLY nice THULE protective case (that would be included). I do not have the original box as I never intended to sell it but for some reason I kept the Spanish maunal and of course the disks. I could easily upgrade it to Lion if you wanted. I installed it, then went back to Snow Lepord.

I am not sure what the rules are here about this sort of thing, but I am not intending to advertise this. So if you want more info contact me directly at (my name with no spaces)@gmail.com. BTW "Want" and "get" as far as price goes, I am flexable on.

It is James Somners. James being the first name and Somners being the last. I followed the links for the Education store. It took a little digging around to find, but it was easy to select that I was a journalism student at a local college. Just an interestign FIY, if you go into a local Apple Store or at least a retailer like The Mac Store, they want to see a transcription, student ID, or some other proof of actually being a student. The Apple Online Store did not ask for any such info, just saying...

I absolutly LOVE my psanish keyboard too I must add yet again! The ONLY drawback is gettign keyboard protectors. I have to order a Moshi European cover online if I wanted such. So far I have had no issues without one, and I use the MacBook for at least 2hrs each day. If I averaged it ou,t I probably spend 3-4hrs a day on it.
