Since there is no "Eject" button on the MacBook Air 11" (Mid 2011), the old keyboard combination for Shut Down, (CMD-Option-Control-Eject), is no longer possible. Is there some other Key Combination for Shut Down or Restart?

Yep, this works. Brings up the "Shut Down Dialogue" with options to "Restart, Sleep, Cancel, Shut Down." Not exactly the same thing, (Control + CMD + Eject ==> Restart), but works fine especially for Shut Down. Thanks.
The only problem with using that to do a quick shutdown, is that it does not close applications like the old sequence. The default behaviour is that upon restart, all windows will be restored.
Is there a keyboard key combination to shut down the MBA (mid 2011)??
