Preference/Privacy ... 97] Plugin entry will not delete-- is it a virus?

Question

In Safari Preferences/privacy... click details, The first thing showing up in the list is something labled "97] Plug-ins"

If you select it and click remove, it disappears briefly, and then re-appears in the list within about 30 seconds.

I have no plugins or "extensions" installed in Safari -- i.e. I have NOT installed anything.

Does anyone have any idea what this is, and why It can't be gotten rid of?

It doesn't seem to be "bothered" by any virus scanners etc. (Or at least I haven't found one that recognizes it.)

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.7), iMac Core i7 2.93GHz 4GB

Same problem here, but the cookie / plug-in has a slightly different name. Still ending with "]".

Deleting it doesn't work. It reappears after only a few seconds.
