I reinstalled Snow Leopard, now can not launch quicken 2007.

Ran ONYX cleaning and maintenance to see if it would speed things up for me. It recommended booting from install disc - so I booted with "C" and the Snow Leopard install disc. It reloaded Snow Leopard, which cleared the errors found in ONYX task. I ran Maintenance and cleanup tasks, but now when I engage QUICKEN 2007 it starts to launch but then closes/crashes. Any idea what I can do? QUICKEN 2007 came with the Mac, so I can't reload QUICKEN.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.3)

Did you do the optional installation of Rosetta? Without this, PowerPC software such as Quicken 2007 will not run on an Intel-based Mac.

Have you run Software Update, repeatedly until there's nothing left to update?

To be honest there is NO reason to run OnYx. All the mainteance neccessary for your iMac is run in the background. It runs daily, weekly and monthly maintenance. While I have OnYx on my computer (it's free) there is no need to use it.
