merge two ipods into one?

Hi all.

I have to iPods (work andhome)
now the deal is that the user wants the music in both to go into one. Keepingin mind that the music is only in the iPods and I got no access to the iTuneslibraries. Is there a way?? (Willing to buy external programs if required)

Thanks

iPod classic, Windows Vista

Why is the content not synced with an iTunes library on a computer? That is just insane and asking for problems.

If both iDevices are linked to the same iTunes account, connect them to a single computer.

DO NOT SYNC!

Select File > Transfer purchases.

Now all content bought on that device is transferred to the iTunes library on the computer.

At this point, it is a simple matter of syncing and telling iTunes what content to sync to which device.

Firstly, thanks for your quickreplay.

This is not for me, as Iunderstand how wrong it is not syncing it with at least one PC.

But the thing is I need to getthem to a pc first and then go about merging.

I know transfer perchase maywork, but I had treble once where it deleted some of the content. (It may havebeen synced with another iTunes library to get most of the music of CD's to iTunes).andI think this done by someone else for the same user. (All I know is that music isin two devices and need to be in one)

Sorry, but this is my first time doing such a mess!
