Outlook contact "other" phone numbers not syncing.

I've got the same problem with contacts "other" phone numbers not synchronizing to iPhone iOS 5.0.1.

Did you ever find a solution for this?

I have been facing the same problem where i have contacts on my iphone with multiple numbers and the labels assigned are not the same labels on outlook. I have tried to create fields in outlook contacts matching those on my iphone but when I synch, i do not get the numbers under one contact copied completely but also i loose some contacts completely.

I have researched this issue extensively and I have failed to find a olution. It seems that iTunes and outlook do not completely talk to each other and we await Apple to fix this shortcoming.

they dont synch and vice versa, created labels on iphone contacts do not transfer or copy into outlook.......its an incompatibility between apple and oulook.....we await a fix or an alternative.

i dont know why we cannot store the contacts into itunes similar to creating a music library!!!!!!!

I saw that post and i had to reply for it.

A little-great-working solution for that is to run those 3 lines (one line at a time) on powershell and all the "Other" lable contacts will change to "Mobile" label and here you go, like a magic - all contacts phone numbers are now visible on the phone again.

(Drop the 1. 2. 3. from the lines of course)

thank you so much for your post and I am sure it will work. However, i am not an expert on powershell and would appreciate it if you could let me know with simple steps how I can access powershell and if I enter the above lines only once or should I have to repeat it each time.

Go to your "Start" menu at the bottom right corner and type powershell on the search field

You should run only once each line.
