MBA not opening web browser after WiFi connection

MBA not opening web browser after WiFi connection. Browser (Safari) starts and stalls frequently. My MacBook Pro whoks fine on my same WiFi using Airport Extreme. any suggestions?

MacBook Air, New MBA just this week!
