Account has been hacked...How do I claim my money back?

Unfortunately, I have been unlucky enough to have my iTunes account hacked and as I stupidly trusted that my details were safe, I linked my bank account to it...
The only way I was notified that someone had my details and was spending my hard earned money, was when the bank cancelled my card and I couldn't buy my lunch (which in itself was annoying!!). I've since got a new card and will not be adding this to my iTunes account... which again is annoying because I've got an iPhone and iPad which I love to buy apps and music for.
Anyway, my question is... how do I approach Apple to get my money back and some sort of compensation for the lack in security?
