I only just received the ipod classic 160gb, i started setting my personalyzed menu and marked also the radio. but it doesn't come out in the menu and therefore i cannot use it. what am i doing wrong?

The Radio feature only works when you have the appropriate 3rd party add on to provide the actual radio hardware and functionality.

Only the iPod Nano has FM Radio built into it. Here is an example of an addon you would need to purchase in order to listen to FM Radio on your Classic.
