Spotlight doesn't find a file which exists!

Hello,

I have a file standing in front of my eyes which names is "Appartment".

To check this is the last version I worked on, I made

a Spotlight search of the string "ppart" (Without the initial "A" for

I can't be sure I used an uppercase first letter.)

Spotlight doesn't find anything. Not even the file "Appartment" which exists.

By clicking on "Show all" within Spotlight I see that it is searching for

"Contents". I changed it for "File Name" which is more relevant. But I

don't see if this change is taken into account immediatly or on any

other kind of action. This window stays empty.

Hence I closed it and oppened again Spotlight and asked once more for

"ppart". Still nothing. By clicking on "Show all" it went back to "Contents"

and the window is still empty. I once more changed for "File Name"

and nothing happens. Not even the smallest sign that my change is

understood. Not even a colorful rotating beach balloon 😮 !

Just to be sure I wasn't making any stupid error, I just typed in a shell:

$ find ~ -name "*ppart*" -ls [...]

and I got all the files which I expected to find.

Just in case I also checked:

$ mdutil -s / /: Indexing enabled.

I have a very bad impression of being a fool trying to speak to a deaf robot 😟.

What do I do wrong to repeatedly get such a lack of information from Spotlight?
