my ipod will not turn on, shows a skull , switches on and off . jailbrake removed on i pod ???

If your iPod is Jailbroken its hard to give reliable troubleshooting steps as we do not know which portions of the Apple OS has been modified.

My suggestion would be to restore the iPod completely (which will remove the jailbreak, but also restore functionality)

This will also delete all user data, contacts games apps etc

You can restore the iPod at home, yes, using the instructions that were just given to you on your home computer using iTunes.

USB Cable

A computer running the latest version of iTunes.
