I am looking to create a netinstall image of Mac OS X Lion with iLife 11, I have successfully created netinstall images for just Lion itself, but how do I add iLife 11 to the netinstall? I have the original disk.
In theory, you'd add the "Add Packages and Post Intall scripts" action to your workflow.
In practice, the iLife installer has never supported being run in the NetInstall environment.
I have a NetRestore workflow with selected iLife09 packages that works.
It has been a while since I built it but it uses Add Packages... and installs the following:
iPhoto.mpkg, iDVD.mpkg, iMovie.pkg, iWeb.pkg, iLife09.pkg, ILifeSlideShow.pkg, ILifeMediaBrowser_v2.pkg and ILifeCookie.pkg.
In other words, it appears that I bypassed the iLife 09 installer and got away with installing individual sub-packages.
Perhaps a similar strategy would work on Lion with iLife11?
