Apple Mail (10.7) Sent Emails...where are they

I have sent over 140 emails since August 3rd using OSX Lion and NONE, Yes NONE are showing in Apple Mail's "Sent" files.

As usual I went back to Outlook 2011 and all 142 sent emails are there.

What the heck is going on with Apple Mail??????

....Cannot search for anything

.....Cannot find sent emails

and more..

Hate to say that so far Outlook 2011 is MUCH better, but I hope that this is not true and someone can give us a reason why so far Apple Mail is a HUGE disappointment.

Thx Much

I've tried every now and then to use outlook, but in the end I get fustrated and end up going back to mail, which is perfect either...

One last note, i have three mac's, two mbp's and a mac pro.

The only one that has this issue is the mac pro, which was upgraded to Lion through using the lion updater app.

The others were installed a fresh on newly formatted drives.

Boy's.

This really, really, really s---ks!! Just sent some very, very important emails and now they are NOT seen at all in my sent mails in Apple Mail.

Something is terribly WRONG on Apple Mail.

What really, really, really s--ks is that I go to Ootlook 2011 and the sent emails and a very good search process are all there.

I WANT to use Apple Mail, but I cannot properly use it.

Come one Apple!!! Your most loyal users are ticked off that Apple Mail is still JV software...please, please, please listen to use.

p.s. yes I have sent this to "feedback"

I deleted one of my exchange accounts from the settings on the 10th. Its still showing the sent items folder as I write. I'd done this before to try to fix it but a few days afterwards it disappeared again.

The only difference this time was that on the 10th I also ran a permissions repair, thinking maybe it was a permissions issue.

Fingers crossed it remains. I'm going to delete/add my other exchange accounts now, hopefully they'll be ok too.

10.7 Mail Stnks and I mean stinks.

After two weeks of using Mail, I know cannot see my sent files, cannot see my deleted trash files.

Way too much going on on campus this time of year to have Mail be sooo terribly bad at the worse time of the year.

Hope the Zookeeprs know how much they having really hurt and annoyed us with this bad, very bad Mail appl in Lion.

I hate to do this, But I MUST go back to Outlook 2011.

Yup and I am now using a brand new MacBook Pro, and the same thing is happening that happened on my previous MBP.

Thx much CS,

Been using Apple products for 30+ years and Apple Mail since it first came out and it is an absolute "Gong Show" using Mail.

I have done all ask me to do my deleting/moving the Apple Mail Preferences files and still stinks.

It is very, very bad. Whenever I add a 2nd account to Mail, I lose all my sent, deleted and other files.

This is terrible and hope the "Zookeepers" of Lion are aware how very, very bad Mail is.

I hate to say this, but Now back to Outlook 2011
