Time Capsule loses connection

I have a brand new Time Capsule to go with my new MacBook Pro. The Time Capsule intermittently loses its connection and cant perform a backup. The Time Capsule icon has an esclamtion point in the middle of it. When I look in the sidebar of the finer the Time Capsule doesnt appear. This has been occuring intermittenly since I purchased it two weeks ago. It never loses the internet connection, just the ability to back up. It seems like the Time Capsule just disappears. What could be causing this?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7)

Lion causes it.. dumb as a board lion, has forgotten the link to the TC address and name.. although it still has the IP address..

You need to reboot the TC.. once a day at least to keep the network happy..

AFAIK, Apple have not acknowledged even that there is a bug..

And I refuse to adopt an OS worse networking than vista.. no such issues with SL.. all very good.

Are you using wireless btw?? Issue does seem to be worse with wireless.. although using ethernet doesn't stop it. Did you do Lion upgrade install.. that also seems to generate more issues than clean install or new computer with Lion.

Sorry as yet I haven't seen any definite fix or work around. I have suggested lots of things but people seldom have the setup to try.

But if you do have another router.. use that and bridge the TC.. see if it helps..

Also set the dhcp lease time really short. that might help.

Also use SMB names.. both for TC network name and wireless.. short, no spaces pure alphanumeric.. something along those lines might help.

Maybe ML is the fix!!
