my iPhone home button not response, on the 4th August i shipped my iPhone to Apple Store in sydney, until now, the service status on the website is service requested

As the topic,coz on the web they said, if they received iPhone, they will send a e-mail to me, but i didn't received any mail,and the status still service requesteed, is there anyone who have same issue with me? and how long they can fix my iPhone and give it back to me???
