Suggestion For Enhancement On I-PHONE & I-MAC

Hello.

Recently my I-Phone 4 was stolen and unfortunately I did not have the locking mechanism turned on. I had mobile me setup but that cannot work unless the phone is on and location services is on as well. I had location services turned on with my phone but the theif evidently turned off the location services so the phone could not be located.

My idea is to have the capability to configure the I-Phone or I-Pad to require a password to actually shut down the phone. I know that if I had the lock feature turned on my phone it would have required a password but I was thinking if it worked that way when shutting down the phone it would be an added benefit.

Any thoughts?
