emailing photos ipad 2

When trying to email a photo, after clicking "Email Photo" under the curved arrow in top right corner, the "Settings" page opens on the line: "Mail, Contacts, Calendars.


That's not what is supposed to happen. Formerly a blank email opened which I completed and sent. But now it doesn't. Any ideas?

iPad 2, iOS 4.3.3

The settings screen shows a list of six mail account options; starting with Mirosoft Exchange. None say either 'Mail' or 'Inactive'.


But I don't have any active accounts for sure, as I access by POP mail (so as to avoid them popping up in both my iPad and Blackberry...


But your thought train is making me think. Maybe I have to make one of them active or there is no account through which to email them?
