Hey all I am stuck with my new Foscam. Has anyone set up a foscam using ethernet from iMac to camera directly? I can't seem to access the camera setup via browser because I get a short generic IP adress 10.0.1.*** etc. I also just found out that airport express does not set up via browser.

Are you able to find the camera when you connect it to your imac? if you are able to find it you should be able to login and configure it so that on reboot it goes directly to the wireless. Are you using "IP Camera Tool.app"?
I am using the ip scanner tool, which, so far seems to be working. I keep getting a "unable to connect to server" message when I try to put the listed address in.
I think you need to go through a router to get the Foscam to work.
