how to change frequency to 1700 -2100

hi,

recently I moved to canada and I brang my iphone with me .my iphone is open , but here in Canada I was notified that I have to chage Mhz range frequency to 1700 -2100 Mhz.

the Q is how to change this

Who is your carrier? Is it one of the ones on this list? http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1937


If not, ask them how you're supposed to do that, because it's not going to happen. If it is one of the supported carrier networks listed, it should work just fine, assuming you have a legitimately factory or carrier unlocked phone. If it's been hacked, then you're on your own.

The iPhone works in the 2100 MHz band. The 1700 MHz band is used only by T-Mobile in North America; all of the other Canadian carriers use the standard bands that are supported by the iPhone. Actually, all of the GSM carriers in the world except T-Mobile in North America operate on bands that the iPhone recognizes.
