I had bought the new iwork this year and now is that I am coming around to use it. I decided to tackle Numbers first. My first question is how do I or can I make relationships between tables or even make relationship between Number and Filmaker?

There's no Filemaker to Numbers automtic linkage that I'm aware of. Within a single document, you can reference the contents of cells in other Tables in Numbers. It's really easy if you use the point and click shortcut. At the place in your formula where you want to reference a cell in another table, simply navigate to the other table and click on the cell. The proper reference address will be inserted and you can proceed with your equation.
Download are read the Numbers User Guide. Download and refer to the iWork Formulas and Functions User Guide as you work. Both are available from the Help menu.

I hope the answer helps you, but it was from 2011 and pertained to iWork '09. IWork '09 did have better documentation than the current version.
