Is there an app to "zoom out" the iPad 2 camera?

Hi,

When taking photos with the iPad 2, it seems that even in the most "zoom out" position - the picture is too close, so I need to go very far back to include the whole object in the frame.

Is there an app that woukd give some sort of wide angle?

Thank you.

An app wouldn't be able to change the characteristics of the camera and be able to change what/how it sees. There seems to be a number of apps that offer photo stitching (I havn't tried any of them), so an alternative would be to take two or more photos and then try to stitch them together into a combined picture. A search for 'photo stitch' finds mainly iPhone apps, presumably because that has a better camera and it's easier to take a series of photos with it for stitching.
