I have an 11 inch MacBook Air (2010 model). I'm tempted by the new Magic Trackpad but I wonder if if will just end up being redundant with the built-in trackpad? Is there a big advantage to the Magic vs the MBA's trackpad?
Well I have a 13 inch MBP that I connect to a external monitor in clamshell mode. I really do like the magic track pad because I can use all the gestures that I normally use on the MBP trackpad. I think its work it if you connect to a external monitor and run your MBA in clamshell mode.
I'm not using it in clamshell mode actually—just normal mode. Which is why I'm guessing the Magic Trackpad might be redundant, even if it's bigger than the MBA's trackpad...
