If you use the BBC News app you can see embedded videos, as well as watch the news channel live.
Get messages that flash player needs to be updated to watch embedded videos (BBC etc.) but try then get message from adobe that effectively
Says "tough luck mate you bought the wrong device it's apples fault"
You'll have better luck convincing those sites to include support for additional video formats than you will trying to get Apple and Adobe to agree on Flash as it exists today. Note that there is a Flash security update most every month.
