Jan 23, 2012 3:09 PM in response to venkateswarluby Jack1111,I had exactly the same problem. I could not get to the I Tunes Store. I did the following as explained by bridgetfromwikkenstien with the winsocket thing and it worked. before wiping out the c-prompt window, just do a reset from the start button on the screen as you normally would. It worked for me. I run Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

Jan 24, 2012 6:50 PM in response to mickkey22by Spediteur,Is your computer part of an network in a business? Sounds like an issue where a network administrator has you locked out of some functions on the local machine where you have only certain administrator functions, if this is not the case try to create a new user via control panelu/user accounts with administrator privileges and log into the new account to make the change. If you are using company PC ask your network administrator to make the change for you.

Feb 19, 2012 9:49 AM in response to birgitfromwittgensteinby KelinPA,I had this problem, also, until I tried birgitfromwittgenstein's solution... run the CMD prompt as admin and type in "netsh winsock reset". After trying literally everything on Apple's site to find a solution, I was at my witt's end. Resetting the winsock worked! Thank you, so much, birgitfromwittgenstein!!!!!!
