Hey everyone, I'm fairly new in the Apple scene and I was wondering if anyone can figure this out.
Today I did a clean install on my MacBook Pro, after which I reinstalled all my programs. The problem is, I can't seem to register them online. These programs are iLife '11 and Microsoft Office for Mac 2011.
Knowing I need future updates, how can I register them?

You don't need to register the iLife apps. If I recall correctly the Office apps are registered when you run the installer.

I'm still wondering.. why are the options to register there if they're not needed (iLife) or are already registered (Office)?
No one here know "why" anything - we are just users like yoruself
For Microsoft your best bet is a Microsoft support forum - no reason to suspect that Apple iPhoto users know anything about MS Office

Those registrations are to get you on an email list to receive new product information, offers, etc.
One should register hardware to establish ownership and date of purchase for warranty purposes.
