Apple ID costs $

Apparently apple ID costs $1.

I just created an apple id with my credit card info and right after that I got an automated text from bank that I made a purchase of USD1.

Collecting $1 from every individual - good idea to earn some pocket money, apple.

But strangely no once mentions about the cost. Is it just me or it's widely accepted fact?

The charge will be refunded. A $1.00 purchase authorization is pretty much standard practice any time you sign up for a service with on-demand billing. It is not unique to Apple. In fact you will probably see that the transaction is only marked as pending if you logged in to you online card statement and will disappear in a day or so.
