Getting AT&T U-verse, Will Apple TV work with it?

I have U-Verse and Apple TV2, and they work very well together, even though I don't think U-Verse is as good as it's sold to be by far, that fact never seems to be a problem for Apple TV. Enjoy.

Let me ad that I have U-Verse DSL only, I use Dish Network still for broadcasts, so if you're wondering about ATT's U-Verse console TV setup, I can't answer that.

I too have Uverse high speed Internet and TV. I have tried to get Apple TV set up with Uverse. I bought an HDMI to HDMI cable and plugged it into the Apple TV box and the back of my flat panel TV but no set up comes on the screen. Any ideas on what I should do?

I wish I had more choices for Broadband isp'd in my area but ATT is it, except for paying 3 times as much, but

I doubt that has anything to do with issues around setting up your Apple TV, because it works for me. I was thinking the kind of TV, and then I read you descrition again. Apple TV should work for you, unless some setting is wrong getting the signal from your computer/and or broadband to the Apple TV device. Don't give up, there is a solution. What kind of Computer are you using and Whats your OS?

My TV has several HDMI connection locations, specific to different devices. If you TV has multiples, try them all.
