This is not a known issue with Lion.
I would try again trying to get the card to seat well, and be read.

Aug 31, 2011 5:22 PM in response to Jasodoby RSER,I am also having the same problem on my MBP but I'm running 10.6.8 OS.... My cards worked fine about a week ago now none of them are recognized..... If the computer has the screen saver running when I insert the card, the screen saver stops but that is the only thing I can get to happen.
