volume of music...clipping
is there anyway to lower the volume of a song on imovie. My song is clipping when i drag it into imovie only.
iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8)
Click on the song in the Project time line, where the little 'gear' icon appears on the song title.. From that pop-up menu choose Audio Adjustments:
You will see the iMovie Inspector window open with a whole series of audio adjustments you can perform on just the audio track iself. The one you want to try first is Normalize.
Normal is near the bottom of the window. And it should drop the volume all on it's own to an acceptable level. If it's stil to loud, use the 'Volume slider' at the top of the window pulling down say 20-25% at a time and seeing if you like it.
