Lion Terminal has started capitalizing.

At the start of each new line Terminal is going to sentence case which is ummm infuriating in unix! I have to start typing a command then backspace to erase then it usually behaves. Any ideas for fixing this. I can't see amything new in Terminal Preferences and it didn't do this in any previous OS version.
