Find My Mac PIN

I tried using the find my mac feature, I used "remote lock" and locked my mac.

I purposely set the Mac to use code 000 000 so I know I wouldn't forget it, but it keeps saying the passcode is incorrect.

When its on the PIN entry screen, I can use Find My Mac again in my iPhone or online to lock it with a new passcode, and the message I set on the lock page will appear on my locked mac, but it doesn't accept the PIN at all...

I've set it to 000000 again and again to ensure but it just doesn't accept it.

I've wiped my hard drive and tried to clean install but the Lion installer checks with the server before installing I guess so it won'r let me, or it's in the Firmware.

It's really confusing and I don't know what to do. AppleCare were stuck and couldn't help me,

I haven't any memory card here, and i dont have EFI password, what should I do? please help me, I cant use my MacBook Air 😮

did you manage to fix this problem? i am now having the same problem and have no idea of how to fix it. have tried the cmd, alt, p, r but nothing seems to work. please help!

I have locked my mac as well and doing that 4 key process does not work and does fail. is there any other way of unlocking it than going to a Apple retail store.

You would not go to the rental store and just ask for help there.

You would go to the genius bar first, but before that you would have logged into your country's apple website and typed genius into the search bar and continued from that point on.

How do you do it??

My mac is Locked again, (after my brother locked into my book of passwords and though find my iPhone locked my mac).

It would be sad to go back to the genius bar and get it fixed again.

(I think they are getting tired of me asking questions about everything).

Im sorry, im having the same issue here.. But unfortunatly i cant see your guide - i cant access it. If you wouldnt mind, could you send it to my email or something? it would realy realy help i guess - 'cause im about to throw my mac air from the window :/ I would realy apreciate your help!

Well, i've been trying for a couple of days, searching for a sollution. I dont mind to wait a day. And i still apreciate your help :) i've written my email in my last post, its been edited and erased, did you still read it before it was edited? Thanks.

I received an email saying that you just sent me what i requested.. unfortunatly, i havent received it =/ seems like the host is in control of everything here!
