Powerbook 1400 and OS 9.2.x

With only 64MB of ram max, can this computer be upgraded to 9.2.x? I thought I read somwhere that 9.1 was as far as I can go with a PB 1400.

Thanks for your help!!

With a RAM ceiling of 64MB, even OS 9.1 pushes a 1400 pretty hard. There won't be much RAM left over for your applications after 9.1 grabs what it wants. You could probably update from 9.1 to 9.2.1 and then 9.2.2 using OS 9 Helper, but then your RAM situation would be even worse.

OS 8.6 provides the best combination of a generous feature set, excellent stability, and thrifty RAM usage on a 1400.
