Why can't I upload videos from itunes to my Ipod classic?

I am trying to download some videos from gametrailers, through itunes. Once they finish downloading, I try to drag them to my Ipod classic and although my ipod has been updated and has more then enough free space, I keep getting a message saying "this video was not uploaded because it can not be played on this ipod."

This is perplexing even more because it doesn't tell me why my ipod can't play the video. I already have movies that run perfectly on my ipod.

What can I do? IF ANYTHING?!

iPod classic, Windows 7

Even though the videos may be in an iTunes friendly format, they may not be optimized for playback on your iPod, which is why you are receiving this message.

Try using iTunes built in converter to convert the video to an even more iPod friendly format. To do this, highlight the video in iTunes and choose Create iPod or iPhone version from the Advanced drop down menu. When it has finished converting, try syncing the new version to your iPod.
