YouTube crashes 2011 iMac running OS X Lion

I installed OS X Lion on my mid-2011 iMac 27", and now my computer crashes frequently when trying to play a YouTube flash video.

I used to tell a Mac crashes less than a Windows PC. Not anymore; my iMac crashes very frequently whenever playing a YouTube video.

Dear Apple, please fix!

Right click on the Flash Video while it is playing and pick Settings from the menu. Uncheck 'Enable Hardware Acceleration. See if that helps...

I posted this in another thread...

There is a third party app that might help too, (in the above URL). My new iMac was locking up when playing videos. After a few days it's working without locking up.
