Hello, I have a 2011 Macbook Pro 13" that shipped with lion pre-installed 🙂, my concern is that on random occasions it locks up and the only way to get it working is to hold down the power button and restart 😠 😟. Is this just a bug with lion that will be resolved in a future software update or could it be more sinicster 😕 ?

i and many others are having the same problem. since your machine had lion pre-installed at the factory, i presume it is very new and under the warrantee. myself, considering what i have been through, would return it to apple for a refund. after reading the many posts here, this is not an isolated problem.
What do you mean "what i have been through" i know it was not an isolated problem with the 2011 snow leopard mbp's so why with the lion ones - ill have to hold tight - just reinstalled lion we shall see if the problems still occur.
