Swiss French Keyboard - Special Characters

I have a Swiss French keyboard, but I write in other languages as Portuguese, and I have difficulties in writing some special characters as: Á, Í, Ú (I had to copy and past them here in order to write). Is there a complete manual for all characters with the Swiss French keyboard layout?

Thanks!

It works the same way as in Windows: Activate Caps lock, then press Shift plus any of the ü ! ö ä keys to produce ÉÀÈ.

You can also create this punctuation by using the dead keys: For example, hit the ^ key and then Shift + A to produce Â, or shift + the ^ key, then I to produce Ì.

I can't figure out where the dead key for the ` pointing right is though (on Windows, it's on the ? key with shift pressed...).

After rereading your post, I notice that unfortunately I could only help you with keys that you don't need.

BUT I just figured out how to make the ´ - dead key: Press alt (Option) plus the ^ key, then the letter (optionally with shift pressed) to produce e.g. á, í, ú.

However I see you also got that far. I don't seem to be able to type them in uppercase either (I always get ´A).

Oh, well, I can only produce É, not the others.

Maybe you need to manually remap some keys (I don't know how) or switch your input keyboard to a Portuguese one...
