Insert Blank Slide grayed out

Insert Blank Slide grayed out

I'm using Aperture 3, most updated version, and I can not get the "insert blank slide" and many of the others, to work! How can I get them blacked in?

What theme are you using. Inset blank slide is only available in certain themes.

That was it! The classic Theme allowed me to enter it and it appears the Kens Burns does to. when i do enter it, and switch themes that dont allow it, the inserted text or blank slide dissapears! Not sure what the purpose for that is, but that explains it. Thanks.
